The Good Influencer

As a health professional or science influencer, the stakes are high when having a presence on social media. The ramifications, even if inadvertent, can have financial and reputational cost. In this workshop, we walk through legal and ethical considerations of social media use. Specifically, I present 5 principles of ethical social media practice, exploring the finer details of expectations on you as a professional.

Determine what’s credible and what’s not.

The internet is full of ideas and so-called truths. It can be difficult to navigate truth from fiction in a world of information overload. In this session, I use my signature CRABS for credibility framework to appraise online content to help you feel more confident. We will walk through case studies and unpack the reasons why this framework matters.
